About the Florence Bamidele Makanjuola Scholarship

Established in honor of the late Mrs. Florence Bamidele Makanjuola, a passionate educator and nurse, this scholarship reflects her lifelong commitment to quality education and female self-reliance. Her legacy now continues through her children and grandchildren via the Florence Fund, with the goal of raising a new generation of women in education and healthcare.

Who Should Apply?

To be eligible, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Gender: Female
Citizenship: Nigerian
Education Level:
1. Currently enrolled in or recently admitted to a public Senior Secondary School or public University
2. Intending to pursue or currently studying Nursing or STEM Education

Academic Requirements

For Secondary School Applicants:

Minimum of 5 distinctions (A or B) in English, Mathematics, and three other core subjects in Junior WAEC.

For University Applicants:

Minimum of 5 distinctions (A1 - B3) in WAEC/NECO at one sitting, including English and Mathematics
Must have met the JAMB cut-off mark for the chosen course and university.
